Edventure in Learning Program

Edventure in Learning is a literacy-based core program where students explore social studies, history, science, art, physical education, nature, and math through literature. In this combo grade class, students have the opportunity to master skills at their own pace. The program is designed for students to attend in-person 2 days a week from 10am-2:40pm Mon/Wed or Tue/Thurs.
During program time, students will learn while playing and developing social skills. There are lots of opportunities for students to move and explore freely but students should be able to focus for a 20 minute period on an academic project. Students will produce quality work samples to show their learning.
The curriculum is easy for parents to follow at home too. Resources like videos, worksheets, and activity ideas are available for each lesson through Schoology and parents can pick and choose how much or how little to supplement at home based on their student's needs. Charter school teachers can also see lesson plans and standards met on the LMS Schoology.
In addition, tk-2nd grade students can choose to add on a mixed media art class from 9-10am and/or a STEM class at the end of the day, from 2:40-3:40.
Enrichment Fridays are also available to students to add an extra day of art, physical education, gardening, nature exploration, and learning to be mindful community members.
